On August 13, 1988, Apostle Jerome witnessed to me on the street. Through him, the Lord opened my heart to believe. Words fail to describe the change that occurred that day. I went from darkness to light... Many years have passed, but the faith he imparted that day remains. As I write, the men of my church are ministering to a dozen at-risk children, showing them "Jesus with skin on." That is just one of many ministries that would never have occurred had not Apostle Jerome been faithful to reach out to a troubled young stranger so long ago. I received hope, guidance, and access to blessings. I have a wife, a home, a job, and so much through being made new in Christ. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!

May God richly reward you--for your work and service has not been in vain. God has used you through the gifts of the Spirit to minister to us. Happy Birthday Apostle Nelson. Spirit of Life is truly an awakening to a higher sphere of Christian living. A church with a pastor that preaches no hold barred sermons, that is now my Dad. The preached word challenges you to live a Godly life because Pastor Nelson walks the truth he preaches. God's continue blessings on your life. I love you to life!!!!

Happy Birthday Dad Nelson! The message you ministered title "He loves me and He can't ever stop loving me", just the title itself is touching,(selah) and it has made me realize how much God loves me and He will never stop loving me. Since I've been at SLM, that's all you have shown me, nothing but love, a Dad's love and a pastor's love, you have truly shown the Love of God. Thanks for taking me under your wings and for being myDad. The Father has given me the Best Dad, Pastor in the world, I couldn't ask for anything more, you are a JEWEL and myDad! LYTL♡

Hey Pastor Nelson,
Thank you Pastor! You have poured into my life for about 17 years and i have had the honor to watch you grow,fall short,pray for the sick and hear their praise report as well as watch you pray for some and yet they still pass. Yet, you won't let our limited understanding stop you from still proclaiming healing in the name of Jesus. Your strength in Christ when your weak or weary makes me stronger and I hold it still an honor to learn from you as you teach. Forever grateful
